RE: Sexual Assault near The Stonehaven Apartments

Today at about 1200 pm a female was at the front gate of the Stonehaven Apartments (3201 Canyon Crest Drive) when a male suspect approached from behind and groped her.  The suspect turned and ran toward Blaine St, with the victim giving chase.  As she was running after him, she noticed a dark grey colored sedan parked and idling on the north side of Blaine. The victim believed the car belonged to the suspect and removed the keys from the ignition.  The suspect ran back, placed her into a headlock, took the keys back and pushed her to the ground.  He then got into the sedan and drove away westbound on Blaine Street.  The victim sustained minor physical injuries and contacted UCPD who responded but was unable to locate the suspect.

Suspect Description:

Hispanic male adult about 21 years old, 5’ 07” and a medium build. He had short hair, a light mustache and two facial moles on his left cheek. He was last seen wearing grey glasses, a light colored shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoe-style boots (refer to the suspect composite)
