UCPD patrol and dispatch operations remain fully staffed and operational.
We are conducting high visibility patrols on and around the campus.
Community Service Officers continue to patrol UCR Housing areas and are available for walking escort on campus.

Active Shooter & Crisis Response
UCPD offers a Crisis Response Course that guides Faculty, Staff, and Students on how to respond in an active shooter incident. The course will utilize the "RAIN" acronym (Respond, Assess, Isolate, and Notify) and the "Run, Hide, Fight" response tactic video for active shooter incidents.
- Go to the UC Learning Center at www.ucrlearning.ucr.edu
- Click Login Now
- Enter your UCR NetID and password*
- Type in "RAIN" in the search field and click Go
- Click on "Responding to a Crisis Situation", and select Register
- Review the activity details and select Submit to complete your registration
